Chipot-Vuillaume workshop violin Mirecourt
Chipot-Vuillaume Workshop Violin – Mirecourt
Jean-Baptiste Chipot-Vuillaume (1847–1892) was a French luthier who trained under Honoré Derazey and later worked in the Collin-Mézin workshop.
After establishing his own workshop in Mirecourt, Chipot-Vuillaume produced violins that reflected the French luthiery traditions of the time. His instruments are known for their fine craftsmanship and tonal quality. Following his death in 1892, the workshop continued under the direction of Charles Drouin.
Violins from the Chipot-Vuillaume workshop are appreciated for their rich tone
