The Arts has been particularly hard hit during this pandemic. We know many musicians are out of work, and many university students have also lost income and have been unable to get the full benefit from their musical studies.

Great ideas spread and at Bows for Strings we are always looking for ways to give back to the community that gives so much to us. We have enjoyed engaging with families through our care package giveaway, and today, I would like to announce a bow rehair offer designed to help professional musicians and tertiary music students who have been affected by the pandemic. 

We are offering one free bow rehair each week until restrictions ease and musicians are able to return to work and study. It is my hope that this small token helps brings some joy during this time and allows musicians to keep playing.

To apply for a free bow rehair, simply fill out this form and tell us a bit about yourself. We will be contacting one applicant each week to arrange a bow rehair (whilst stage four restrictions remain this will involve posting your bow to us).
