New to our range of fine violins is this 2008 handmade German violin by master luthier Wolfgang Schnabl.

In this video, Bows for Strings violinist, Nick, plays a brief excerpt to demonstrate the beautiful sound of this instrument.

Wolfgang Schnabl was born in 1963 in Bubenreuth, Germany, a town that is steeped in violin making history. From September 1984 to February 1988 he studied at the 'Staatliche Fachschule für Geigenbau' in Mittenwald and from 1998 has worked independently in his own workshop in Germany.

Today Wolfgang Schnabl is a highly respected violin maker in Bubenreuth, and is known worldwide.
